Did you know? State statute dictates that our university parking program pays for itself. This means that those who use campus parking must pay for the parking they use. So staff, faculty, students and visitors pay for parking in one of three ways: buying a permit, paying a meter or paying a fine. Click here for more info.
All the money collected from parking ventures goes to support parking. Parking and Transportation Services does NOT receive tax or tuition money, but uses the money it collects from permit sales, meter collection and fines to pay for all costs. These costs include new parking garage construction, maintenance of existing parking garages and lots, signs and enforcement.
