carpool imageVisitors and carpooling options

Colorado State University has hundreds of events and activities for our community and alumni to enjoy. Make it easy on yourselves, share the ride to campus and carpool to campus.

Carpools only need one parking space on campus, and they can split the cost of an hourly or daily permit.

Daytime visits

If you are visiting campus during the work hours, parking permits are enforced, and some areas of campus are enforced with extended hours. Carpool to one of our convenient hourly or daily visitor parking spaces  and share the cost of the parking space. View our hourly visitor parking lots.

Evening visits

If you are visiting campus during the evening, some parking lots allow free parking after 4 p.m. Be sure to check signs in your selected lot to see if a parking permit is required after 4 p.m.

Parking for sporting events in the Moby lot carries a parking fee. More information.

Contractor carpooling

Parking and Transportation services will sell contractors monthly parking permits for their employees to use during a construction project. Carpooling will minimize the number of parking permits needed.

To purchase contractor parking permits, contact Parking and Transportation Services at (970) 491-7041.
