Transfort – Fort Collins Transit

  • Transfort is the official bus transit service of the city of Fort Collins. Individuals may ride any of the local routes throughout the city for free.
  • The Lory Student Center houses the Campus Transit Center with connections to most Transfort routes in Fort Collins.
  • Please visit Transfort’s CSU Routes Hub for up-to-the-minute information on routes, delays, and other scheduling needs.

Max – North and South Connections

  • Transfort’s Max route provides 10-minute service from the north and south ends of the city of Fort Collins
  • Connections to many of the other local routes can be made at both the southern and northern Transfort transit centers.
  • Use one of the many park-and-ride lots throughout the city to take the Max into campus.
  • Connect to campus through the Prospect, University, or Laurel stops

  • Rider tools are available from Transfort to help get your transit journey started.
  • The RideTransfort app provides instant updates on routes, delays, and alerts, and is available on both mobile platforms.

Campus Shuttles

Around the Horn

  • Around the Horn currently provides 10-minute service across campus from 6:54 a.m. – 6:32 p.m. Monday – Friday with 20-minute service on Saturday.
  • Around the Horn connects with MAX, the city’s rapid bus transit system at University Station.

Foothills Shuttle

  • The Foothills Shuttle runs in a loop and serves the northern (Laporte) and southern (Rampart) buildings of the CSU Foothills campus
  • Routes 2 and 32 connect Main Campus to the Foothills Shuttle at Elizabeth and Overland Trail.

Regional Transit

Options

Take advantage of additional transit options across northern Colorado that all route through the transit center at the Lory Student Center.

    • FLEX – Transfort’s FLEX route travels along the MAX guideway, connecting CSU with Loveland, Berthoud, Longmont, and Boulder.

     

    • Poudre Express – The Poudre Express route serves commuters from Loveland, Windsor, Greeley and UNC with a convenient stop at the CSU Transit Center.

     

    • Bustang – Bustang offers transit options from CSU to Denver along the I25 corridor to Union Station.
