Per Colorado State statutes, CSU Transportation cannot be funded from tuition, student fees, or state tax dollars. All parking operations must be paid for from revenue generated by CSU Transportation
Paid parking is required Monday through Friday, except for CSU Apartment lots and parking garages, which are enforced 24/7. Paid parking is not enforced on official university closure dates, such as major holidays or weather closures.
CSU Transportation uses license plate recognition technology to enforce parking operations. Vehicle license plates serve as the corresponding permit.
Overnight parking is available for all off-campus commuter permit holders in lot 740 off Research Blvd and Center Ave
Lots towards the center of campus will fill up fast; however, there is almost always available space in Moby lot 195 or in lot 740.
Annual, academic, and semester permits may be eligible for a prorated refund. Monthly and daily permits are not eligible for a refund.
CSU Athletics manages all game day parking operations and utilizes CSU Transportation lots for game attendance. No CSU Transportation permits are valid on home football game days.
Parking permits can be purchased in the office using cash or check. Debit and credit cards may also be used over the phone, and with written authorization, we can process transactions via payroll or student account over email.
Hourly parking can be purchased with coins, debit, or credit at any of the physical pay stations on campus. Individuals may also use a ParkMobile account to pay for hourly parking.
Colorado State statutes prevent our office from being able to modify entered license plate numbers. Any update to a vehicle license plate must be entered as if it were a new vehicle.
Valid permit holders may add any number of vehicles to their permits; however, only one vehicle using the permit may be parked at a given time.
All lots feature signage posted at the entrance stating the primary permit for the lot. Any additional restrictions will be signed inside the lot. Please visit the campus parking map for more information.
