Active Transportation Options

Transit & Shuttles
Public transit is one of the easiest ways to access campus during commencement weekend. The MAX bus line provides frequent service through Fort Collins and stops near CSU. In addition, CSU’s free campus shuttle, Around the Horn, will be running every 10 minutes during commencement events, with key stops at Moby Arena and the Lory Student Center, both within walking distance of major venues.

Rideshare
Due to road closures around campus, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft will have adjusted access points. Riders should plan to be dropped off and picked up south of the Behavioral Science Building.

Designated drop-off location:

Bikes, Scooters & Walking
Biking and scootering are great options for getting to campus efficiently. Riders are encouraged to use designated bike lanes and park at bike racks across campus. If you’re using an e-scooter or e-bike, be sure to follow local parking guidelines and avoid blocking sidewalks or entrances. Walking from nearby  transit stops is also a reliable way get to your event.

Respect Our Neighbors

Off-campus parking during commencement may be restricted or actively enforced by the City of Fort Collins, and vehicles parked without the proper permits risk being ticketed. To avoid fines and unnecessary stress, guests are strongly encouraged to use on-campus parking, and alternative transportation options.
